Boiling Down to Pain

Get Rid of Boils with Natural Remedies

All parts of your body are susceptible to illness or infection at one point in your life. Even your hair can become infected. When a hair follicle inflames, you might experience a boil. Boils can be incredibly painful. If you experience painful, hard bumps that keep returning, you are likely to be very frustrated. The reason why boils keep happening to you and not anyone else is that your immune system is likely not up to par. Fortunately, there are natural pain remedies that can provide pain relief for boils and even build your immune system back up.

When you are experiencing boils, one of the first things you can do is apply heat to the swelling. Warm cloths work fine, but you can also try a heated comfort pack. These helpful fellers work as heating pads that heal and help bring pus to the surface. But make sure to have a warm washcloth handy to clean the boils once the boil has drained. You do not want to cause another infection.

Since your immune system is likely weak, you might need to take herbs that can act as antibacterials. Herbs like astragalus membranaceous, echinacea purpurea, inula helenium, and withania somnifera not only fight bacteria, but also strengthen your immune system.

You might also want to treat your skin directly. Since boils are terrible for the skin, you might want to try a tissue salt. Also, some herbs are useful in detoxifying your body. Two herbs that are great for this are gallium aperine and silybum marianus. If your skin has been damaged by the boils, the skin might need extra vitamin B and borage oil.

In order to prevent boils from happening in the first place, practice good hygiene and keep all cuts and scrapes clean. Make sure to also have a healthy diet and lifestyle that will strengthen your immune system.
