Aiding a Bladder Infections

Bladder, Restrooms, Ladies

Coming To the Aid of Bladder Infection

A bladder infection (urinary tract infection - UTI) is also called cystitis. The most common signs of bladder infection are a burning sensation when urinating as well as a lot of uncomfortable pressure, and not to mention the feeling of wanting to urinate constantly. Anyone, both males and females, can have a bladder infection. You can also have a bladder infection at any age as well. Though a bladder infection sounds a bit intense, and it can be, it still can be aided. Aiding a bladder infection can be done naturally, however, just like with anything you should see a doctor if your problem doesn’t seem to be going away.

Control and Prevention

There are some things that can be done not only to possibly control bladder infections (UTIs) but also to help prevent them. Some of those things include: drinking 8 glasses of water a day (this will help to wash out bacteria), eating a diet rich in vegetables and grains, cutting out foods that irritate the bladder (such as chocolate and coffee), cutting out sweet treats, and drinking cranberry juice.

Vitamin C, Parsley, and Yogurt

Vitamin C, parsley, and yogurt all help in aiding bladder infections. Including a vitamin C supplement (if it is impossible to get it from the food you eat) will help to create an environment in the body that bacteria doesn’t like. Yogurt is not only good for those trying to get more calcium in their diet but it is also good for those who have a bladder infection. Yogurt helps to keep the supply of good bacteria in the body up, which naturally prevents infections caused by bad bacteria. Eating fresh parsley provides the body with apiol, which is an oil that acts as an antiseptic for the urinary tract. This will help aid in the relief of bladder infections temporarily.
