*A Small Note From Yours Truly*

Hey there, readers! Sorry for the missing post yesterday. Hard wood floors are currently being put into place in my house, which made it hard to get to my computer. Any of those who have done this before or are in the process of doing this I am sure that all of you know how much of a pain it can be! The house looks like a construction zone at the moment…wonderful thought, huh? Now back to your regular scheduled blog post ;).

Dreadful Breast Tenderness Due to Pregnancy

Breast tenderness very commonly often appears during pregnancy, often after finding out about being pregnant, especially those who are pregnant for the very first time. Typically when breasts are tender they will feel sore and swollen all over, not to mention sensitive. Sounds like a load of fun, doesn’t it? Breast tenderness is a result of the changes that the body is going through. The breasts begin to prepare for feeding the baby, causing them to grow slightly. Some women experience tenderness that is painful while others do not. Breast tenderness caused by pregnancy can be helped with a few simple things.

Support Is Always the Key

Remember those sports bras from the days of physical education in High School? Well, those things are usually recommended for those with rather large breasts that have become sore due to the breasts preparing to feed the baby. It is especially helpful to wear a sports bra after giving birth if a decision is made to not breast feed.

Evening Primrose Oil and Breast Tenderness

Ever heard about how good evening primrose oil is for menstruation? Whether you have or not doesn’t make a difference, however, knowing that it is good for breast tenderness can make a difference. Taking a daily dosage of evening primrose oil in 40 mg can sometimes help to aid in breast tenderness.

Cabbage Leaves - Not Just For Eating

Cabbage leaves seem to work well for a lot of pregnant women with breast tenderness problems. Apply raw cabbage leaves to already tender or swollen breasts and leave them there, replacing them when the leaves are really noticeably wilting. Some women notice a difference in breast tenderness within a few hours.
