The Signs of An Upset Stomach

An upset stomach, otherwise known as indigestion, is a term used for miscellaneous symptoms relating to the digestive tract. Most people tend describe an upset stomach as feeling full, nauseous, the feeling of heartburn, etc. An upset stomach does generally clear up all on its own, however some people still prefer to treat it in some shape or form in order to make it go away quicker. The best way to do this is to take a look in the kitchen cabinets…

Tea Time

Herbal teas seems to work wonders for so many different things, an upset stomach being one of those things. Chamomile is possibly one of the best ones, however don’t forget that every individual is different, so what may work for one person will not work for another. Aside from chamomile tea there are a few other teas that work good as well, which include ginger tea, peppermint tea, mint tea, fennel tea, raspberry tea, etc.

Honey, Mint, and Lemon

Honey, mint juice, and lemon juice is a nice combination for an upset stomach. Simply mix equal parts of honey, mint juice, and lemon juice together and take 1 teaspoon orally once or twice daily to help aid indigestion.

Baking Soda and Mint

As disgusting as it sounds baking soda can really help with an upset stomach. Simply add some baking soda to a glass of cold water, or whatever your preference is, and drink it. Another nice addition to fighting off an upset stomach is to add 2 drops of mint essence to a glass of cold water (again, whatever your preference is) and drink it, repeating this process every 4 hours.
