Aches and Pain of Menstruation
Almost every woman knows it, not to mention feels it. Along with that time of the month comes painful cramps, an aching back, and sometimes even a sore body. There are a few lucky women out there who don’t endure this kind of pain, however, for the ones who are stuck with the horrible pain due to menstruating it can be quite a task to deal with.
First Things Are First
The best things to try for aiding painful menstruation problems first are hot baths and such. If a bath isn’t something someone wants to try then placing a hot water bottle on your lower back and your stomach can replace this method. However, it said that you shouldn’t use hot water bottles for longer than 15 - 20 minutes.
A Vitamin a Day
Adding a vitamin B complex supplement to your daily vitamin can help with menstrual problems. Evening Primrose Oil, taken as a supplement, is said to be very beneficial to those who endure menstrual pain, etc. as well.
Exercise
Exercising and or doing yoga greatly helps with the pain due to menstrual cramps. This is because when we exercise we are working our muscles. Just as moving around a lot is good for arthritis it is also good for painful menstruation.
Two Red Berries
It is said that drinking raspberry juice is helpful in aiding painful menstruation. Another red berry, apart from raspberry, helps bring relief from the once of month curse for women. Strawberry. Yes, strawberries. Drinking strawberry juice as well as eating a lot of strawberries is very good when it comes to attacking those horrible menstrual cramps.
Pumpkins - Not Just a Halloween/Thanksgiving Treat
Pumpkin Seeds, whether you hate them or love them they are great for menstrual pain. Simply eat at the very least 1/4 of a cup of pumpkin seeds per day for an entire week before your period. Once your period comes continue eating them throughout the length of your cycle and you should be relieved of most of your period pain.
