I was looking for someone having similar symptoms and here I go…
Can someone please tell if I’m having ME and what kind of expert should I consult for it? Is it neurologist?
For past 8-9 months I'm feeling that my life is running at extremely low energy levels. I no longer get up 'feeling 'recharged' in the morning. The energylessness feeling is so pervasive that I’m not able to muster-up the courage to hit the neighborhood gym. I've observed whenever I work-out a little bit extra, I feel a queer kind of dull mindedness the whole day. At work I often find myself just whiling away time just waiting for 6 o' clock. by the time I reach home, the energy levels are completely bottomed out and i just watch TV for a couple of hours or read papers, have dinner, read some more/chat with my wife and go to a not-so-sound sleep.

My family physician got serum B12 level checked 3 month back, it was “below 150″, and she prescribed methyl cobalamine injections. I took around 25 of them and upon rechecking the levels, it was 'above 1000' but the symptoms have only worsened.
I'm 27 yrs old male. My height is 5’ 11”, broad body frame and weighs 78 kg. I've gained 2-3 kgs in last one year.
Job is mostly on desk (when in town) and involves traveling 4-5 days a month. There are no late hours and it’s not stressful.
I'm a pure veggie, eat home cooked food and am not fond of junk food.

Thanks in advance.
