Hi , after reading so many pain postings ..I have realized that I am not the only one suffering form pain..as I used to think when I usually get frustrated. Infact it made me realize that there are other numerous forms of pain that I was unaware. Anyways..i would like to share some of my personal condition and exercises that I do
Fist of all I will ask if you have forearm splints? If no then go get it they aren't too expensive for most of them. They will brace your wrist and hand. Or you could use tensor bandages. These may help you weight lifting.

I used to do a lot of regular weight lifting when I was younger.(I was able to bench press 350lbs and press 500lbs with my legs I didn't do this all the time because it was kind of stress full. I stuck usually around 250 for arms/350 for legs)
Also swimming issafe and fun. There are numerous stretches and sit ups/crunches you can do that a physio can show you. But also the arthritis foundation had out in past books on exercise with arthropathy.
For me I try to get some exercise but my case is little bit complicated.
