Describe your headaches. Everybody try to answer. What time dose it start usually?

How long dose it takes? How often dose it come to you? Which drug do you use for your pain reliever?

Also as first step you must completing your headache diary. This diary is very useful for your doctor. You can download it from this link

If you use any drug like aspirin … you can list.

If your headache become better without any drug intensity between 1 2 3

If your headache become better with drug intensity between 4 5 6

If your headache don't become better with drug intensity between 7 8 9

I really don’t know what the cause of my headache is; my head aches all the time. Okay, almost all the time. Maybe it is caused by stress….though I may have some more serious. Anyway, I’m strange and so is my head….:P

It doesn’t start or end……I have it nearly all the time. Medicine….I don’t prefer….as they don’t help me much……but the head ache is more when I try to focus my attention on something…..I have throbbing pain and feel nausea, irritation and disturbance….it starts when ever it wants too I have it at the meantime. I am really sick of it.

I usually get it in the evenings every day, some times in mornings. It starts slowly n it will be there for 2 to 3 hrs or till I sleep. It is usually triggered, because of sounds, or if I talk over phone for more then 15 minutes and due to pollutions and smoke, or if some one shouts in front of me. I have this problem from long time almost 3yrs, and I got weak eye-sight as well, though I am using glasses for it, but still I usually have headache all the time. Can anybody help me…?

Migraine

Mine is a case of migraine. In this case the veins of the brain expand and give a hammering headache. To all the people who are suffering from headache, please do the following:-

1. Always wear good quality sunglasses even if you step out for a second in the sun. Wear it while driving car too. It makes a LOT of difference.

2. Avoid very loud music.

3. Do not fast for a long time. Instead, eat small portions of food. You can have some juice or anything in between.

4. Avoid caffeine as in coffee and cola

5. Give your body the amount of sleep it deserves.

6. Avoid eating stale cheese.

7. Please contact a neurologist who will prescribe you some medicine which you have to take daily. It will be a medicine to stop your veins in the brain from expanding. So the possibility of an attack is minimized.

Follow the above instructions. These make a lot of difference in making your life peaceful. You will be able to work more efficiently.

Cervicogenic Headache?

I am suffering form this sort of headache each and every day for last 3 yrs, throbbing/dull pain not severe, but really headache. Always right back side of head upper neck. Occipital region involved sometimes. Also light tearing eye on same side. As for medicines Tricyclick antidepressants and NSAIDs works.

Recently, X-ray says Spondylosis of C4-C5 regions.

It occurs anytime…and it's always on the right side, feels like someone is making a hole in it with a screw….well now the condition is that when there is no headache it feels very strange……….

How to treat??? Help me please

Spondylitis of C4-C5 regions.

Spondylitis can be cured by medicines and exercise… and if that doesn't help surgery can be done…. but that also doesn't help for long… the pain comes back after a yr or so…best would be you be regular on exercise to keep fit… ask your physiotherapist…

As for myself, I am suffering from headache for the past 3 years. I can do things normally but when it comes to reading its annoying me I am not able to concentrate doc said its tension headache. Can any body help me how to over come tension headache or provide some insight in this regard

Which pill or drug do you use for your headache?

Mortin, Excedrin are pain reliever that I used for my headaches. Some times I have to use ergotamin-c unfortunatly acteminophen and aspirin aren't good enough.

If anybody uses other recommend for others

I also heard that IMIGARIN and CAFERGOT but they are useless if taken when the headache is in later stage…they must be taken immediately and by consulting a Doctor.

By the way my friend usually takes tylenol for it and it works

I guess PCM also works well

Furthermore, Transcendal Meditation works for people who never had a severe headache.
