One fine morning
George w
as on his way to his office with
his colleague David. David said to George “I heard of a harsh decision by
the management to lay off some of the non performing individuals from the Organization
“. George could not believe the happenings in the Organization and
suddenly he was under stress. David could notice George sweating heavily with
great difficulty to adjust himself.

Hey Guys were you under similar condition to that of George when you were under
stress during your difficult times.

Technically stress is a word derived from the
Latin word “stringere”, meaning to draw tight. Noradreanaline is a
neurotransmitter system, a system that transmits the information from brain to
different parts of the body, activated primarily by stress. Hypothalamus is a
major component of brain that coordinates major neural and hormonal mechanisms
in the body. In fact severe stress
depletes the noradrealine stores, indirectly reduces the transmission
capacity, of Hypothalamus ,other sympathetic nerves and results in
various actions such as the increase in heart beat, rise of blood pressure, heavy
sweating. Further It is also found that stress plays a large role in the
decrease of the immunity levels in the body
.

Hello

I have been under stress so many times. Indeed I experienced the same anxiety that George had experienced. But interestingly I am not aware of the effects of the stress. It is infact surprising to see that stress decreases the immunity levels in the body.

Paulthepainkiller, could you give more details on the effects of stress on the immuniy levels in the body.
