The What and When

Arthritis is an inflammation of the joint, typically followed by swelling, pain, and stiffness. A few forms of arthritis are bacterial arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. Arthritis can form on almost any part of the body. The neck and hands are two of the most common places on the body that arthritis appears, and it is always very painful. Usually if a person is going to get arthritis it won’t show up until after the age of 40, however it is possibly to get arthritis at an earlier age.

Rescued By Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a vitamin that everyone should get into their daily diet and or multi-vitamin. The Daily Reference Values recommends getting 30 IU of vitamin E daily. By taking 1,000 milligrams of vitamin E twice a day for two weeks, dropping down to taking it once a day, it is possible that the majority of pain caused by arthritis can go away. Vitamin E aids in the lubrication of joints.

A Little Ginger Never Hurts

Ginger is well known for it’s anti-inflammatory properties, therefore making it a nice addition to any treatment for arthritis. To use ginger for help in aiding arthritis it can be taken by capsule or used as a tea.

Say No to Red Meat and Reduce Dairy Intake

A diet that does not include red meat and a reduction in dairy products is quite beneficial with helping to reduce pain caused by arthritis. People that have arthritis that is inflamed and extremely painful should try avoiding spicy foods and possibly citrus fruits as well. It is very important to eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables because this will help strengthen the body. Not only is eating plenty of fruits and vegetables good for over all health but by strengthening the body it can possibly help to aid arthritis as well.
