Chronic Fatigue Isn’t Permanent

Nutritional Guide to Curing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

If you feel overwhelming fatigue and pain all of the time, despite resting and taking it easy, you might be suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). This disorder can be very debilitating and cause all sorts of other side effects like headaches, infections, muscle ache, confusion, mental fog, and depression. This disorder can come from a variety of sources that mostly stem from a poor diet. There are many things you can do to restore your level of energy and experience pain relief.

For many individuals, CFS can last up to five years before recovery. For other individuals, CFS seems to last forever. For those who suffer from CFS, recovery usually only occurs after some form of treatment. These treatments are usually integrated and have a high success rate.

CFS is a horrible condition that can damage an individual’s family and livelihood. Depression and guilt that can stem from CFS can also further contribute to the symptoms of fatigue that the sufferer is experiencing. Someone suffering from CFS might need counseling and sleep therapy. Massaging and heating pads might also help an individual feel better.

Getting sleep might be difficult when you suffer from CFS. The pain that is caused by CFS can make falling asleep difficult. You might need to take herbs that have the ability to relieve muscle pain. Herbs that can help you fall asleep are:

  • Wild Lettuce Hops
  • Jamaica Dogwood
  • Valerian
  • Passion flower

There are also many vitamins and minerals that have a strong, positive effect on CFS. These vitamins and minerals are:

  • Amino Acids
  • Fructooligosaccharides
  • Inositol
  • Magnesium
  • Malic Acid
  • Selenium
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin E
  • Zinc

These vitamins and minerals provide energy, fight muscle pain, and improve immune function. With strong additions of vitamins to your diet, your body will be able to reverse the problems associated with CFS.
