Facing the Enemy
Acne seems to make it’s way to just about anyone’s face, though there are a few lucky ones that escape this fate. Acne occurs when the skin’s pores become clogged with bacteria, dead skin cells, and oil. Acne can leave scars when the body ages, however, what’s worse is the pain that sometimes comes with having acne. From time to time a pimple will appear with what feels like pressure. Typically the pimple will be anywhere from red to pink in color with a reddish color surrounding the pimple along with the specific area being a little extra oily. The pain usually varies. It can range from only hurting a tiny bit without much notice to hurting a lot with noticing it constantly. Fortunately there is a way to treat this, and what better way to treat it than getting to the root of the problem and attempting to get rid of the acne or at the very least relieve some of it.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera tends to work for almost anything, fortunately it can also help with acne, which is an inexpensive way of treating your needs. If you have very oily skin then you can apply a small amount of aloe vera to the acne infested area just as you would apply lotion to your skin. Doing this will help clear up your complexion by drying out your skin, which is why this shouldn’t be done more than 2 - 3 times a week because it can cause the skin to become too dry.
The Sweet Success of Strawberries
You don’t have to like to eat strawberries in order to use them to help treat acne. Simply rub crushed strawberries on your face and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Once 15 minutes has passed rinse off the strawberries with warm water and then again with cold water. Strawberries help clear up blemishes.
